Smithsonian Channel Plus
The Smithsonian Channel aimed to expand its service and content offerings by moving to a “TV everywhere” digital subscription model. They hired Potion to design and build their next-generation app across nine platforms, including mobile and tablet. We were also tasked with formulating marketing tactics to convert free users to monthly subscribers.
Our small team led the UX/UI, strategy, and development across the top TV apps, including Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire, and Samsung (Tizen). We aimed to showcase their visually stunning content and make finding new content easy for their audience.
